Kerr, Dawson C.

Private Dawson Kerr (Service No. 3056523) served with the 2nd Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force, during the First World War. The 2nd Battalion, known as the Eastern Ontario Regiment was amongst the first Canadian units to arrive in France in 1915 and fought in many of the war's most significant battles including Vimy Ridge, Private Kerr served with courage and dedication alongside thousands of Canadians on the Western front. His service reflects the sacrifice and commitment of the men who answered Canada's call during the Great War, and his memory is honored with gratitude.
